Haralson County Extension Office:
Agriculture & Natural Resources

Provides educational series and unbiased research information to homeowners and commercial clientele in areas of landscape maintenance, pest controlwildlife control, vegetable and fruit production, annuals, perennials, gold medal winners, treesturf-grass and alternative agriculture production. 

We also provide the general public with connections to certified arborist in the county.  Soil samples can be tested to help clientele develop and maintain a more productive soil by providing information on nutrient availability and soil pH.  Water samples can also be tested for safety purposes as well.  Visitors can bring samples of plants, weeds or insects for identification and sound advice.  

Residents of Haralson County also have the opportunity to become a part of the Master Gardener program, which is coordinated by the ANR Agent.  We also strive to provide local farmers with timely information.
