Habersham County 4-H Archery Team

The Habersham County 4-H Archery Team is led by volunteer coach Randy Crump. The team just finished an excellent fall season. We plan to resume practices in February with indoor classroom instruction and on the range in March. Archers shoot at round FITA and 3-D animal targets. Participants don't need their own equipment to participate. We have both recurve and compound bows for youth of any level to use free of charge. We even have equipment for left handed shooters!

Currently our participation has greatly exceeded our coaching staff. We need additional coaches to expand any further. If you are a new potential team member or coach please contact the 4-H office for information. We would like to expand our coaches so that we might be able to offer archery on multiple days per week to accomodate more kids.

Interested coaches will be asked to attend a free coaches certification seminar at Rock Eagle. There you will be certified to work with youth in our archery program. Once we have coaches lined up we'll gladly expand the program to addtitional participants.

Thank you to Wendell Dailey for attending the Coaches Certification Training on Oct 31-Nov 2nd.

Coaches Certification Trainings will be hosted Dec 5-7th and Feb 20-22nd.

Indoor Archery Tournament at Camp Fortson on February 28th.

State Archery Tournament will be hosted at Rock Eagle on April 24-26th.
