HORSE AND PONY CLUB MEMBERS ARE AWESOME!

Horse & Pony Club members competed at the Georgia 4-H Horse Show in Perry, GA

CONGRATUALTIONS TO: Julia Swyden who was 1st overall in the Jr. Saddle Seat division and qualified to represent GA at the 4-H regionals to be held in Raleigh, NC. Other state winners: Lindsey Cheek (9th in Jr. Western Horsemanship) and Kaili Stevens (10th in Sr. Western Horsemanship). Kelley Partin also competed.

YOU ARE ALL WINNERS!

Following the State show, 4-H Horse School was held in Perry, and we had 7 Glynn members to participate in the 5 day program. They were: Deryn Sousa, Samantha Cercy, Kaili Stevens, Lindsey Cheek, Joshua Crum, Kelley Partin, and Julia Swyden.

These 4-H'ers competed at the May 13, 2006 Horse Judging event in Athens, GA

***Seniors, Kaili Stevens came in 3rd place, Kelley Partin came in 12th (out of 40) and two of the Junior contestants were in the top 20 out of 93! WOW!!!
