  • Basic Lab Testing Services
    • Water Testing
      • Basic Test: $14.00
        Please call our office for more information about what is included in the basic test, and your options for more extensive testing.
      • Water samples should be collected from the kitchen faucet or from the faucet used most often for drinking. Fill the bottle with the first-pull of water, as if you were filling a drinking glass. This techniques helps assure the analysis represents the quality of the water being consumed.
    • Soil Testing - $8.00
    • Radon Testing Our office once again has Radon Kits. They may now be purchased for $5 at our office. Calling ahead of time to confirm they are in stock is recommended.
    • To order a kit by mail, complete the order form and mail a check for $6.50 to:

    • The test is self-administered, and requires a 3-7 day test window with no severe weather. Results should be available within 10 days of submitting the sample.

Walk-a-Weigh

  • An 8-week program designed to help participants lose weight, increase nutrition knowledge, and learn lifestyle tips to control or reduce their risk of chronic diseases. Each session will include a presentation and time for weighing and exercise.  Occasional taste tests will also occur.

    • Location: Forsyth County Family YMCA (no membership required!)
      • 6050 Y Street, Cumming, GA 30040
    • Wednesdays from 9-10:30am, September 15 - November 3
    • Cost: $25

      • Registration Packet - All the forms you need!
        • The medical permission form (in the registration packet) MUST be signed by your physician in order to fully participate in the class
  • At each session, participants will weigh in to help monitor their progress throughout the course. At the first and last sessions only participants will have additional measurements taken ( body circumferences, blood pressure, weight, etc.) to better quantify their overall success. All measurements are optional.
