FACS Cooperative Extension county-based educators are dedicated to providing workshops that enable food managers and staff to prepare and serve food in a clean and safe environment. They teach ServSafe® workshops in various locations throughout the state, and a listing of current offerings can be found on our Extension ServSafe® website.

The Next Servsafe class will be November 3rd and 4th, PDF application.        

Walk Georgia Registration Opens August 22, 2010

Walk GeorgiaWalk Georgia is ready for fall and wants you to put on your walking shoes and move more for a healthier you in 2010. Walk Georgia is a free program open to adults and youth, churches, organizations and the workplace. The 8 week program is sponsored by UGA/Cobb County Cooperative Extension. a new series of Programs presented by Cobb County Master Gardeners.  NOON – 1 PM.   Bring you lunch and enjoy an hour-long presentation on a plant related subject.

The Programs will be held on the second Friday of the each  month at the Cobb County Central Library—266 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA 30060.
