Events and Activities

Cloverleafs - 5th & 6th Grades

Cloverleaf County Project Achievement for all 5th & 6th graders will be held Saturday, January 24th at Clarke Middle School. Demonstrations for the Cloverleaf division will be from 9:30 am until 12:00 noon. The demonstrations can be from any of the 4-H project areas and they should not last more than 6 minutes.

Winners at CPA will travel to Rock Eagle 4-H center to represent Athens-Clarke County at District Project Achievement scheduled for February 14, 2009.

Don't forget to sign up with your teacher by December 12th! Choose from 64 projects by viewing the Project List.

Juniors - 7th & 8th Grades

Junior District Project Achievement for 7th & 8th graders will be held March 6 - 8, 2009 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. However, in order to compete, Juniors must submit a portfolio outline their project work throughout the year. Deadline for submitting portfolios is December 19, 2008.

Seniors - 9th through 12th Grades

  • Senior DPA
    • District Project Achievement for all Senior 4-H'ers will be held March 6 - 8, 2009 at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. Seniors wishing to compete in DPA must complete and submit a portfolio to the 4-H office before January 5, 2009. Guidelines for Senior Portfolios can be found at:

  • Fall Forum
    • Fall Forum is a state wide event just for Senior 4-H'ers. It will be held at Rock Eagle 4-H center on December 13 & 14, 2008. Registration is $65.00 per student and the deadline to register is Wednesday, November 26, 2008.
