Mission

Our mission is to extend lifelong learning to Georgia citizens through unbiased, research-based education in agriculture, the environment, communities, youth and families.

The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension in Chatham County provides a variety of educational programs to the citizens of Chatham County. Extension programs and client services in the areas of Family and Consumer Sciences, 4-H, and Horticulture continue to meet the requests of Chatham County residents. Through a partnership between Chatham County and The University of Georgia Cooperative Extension current unbiased research-based information is provided to our community. We invite you to contact or visit the Chatham County Cooperative Extension office at 124 Bull Street or the Bamboo Farm and Coastal Gardens located in Southwest Chatham County on Highway 17.
