Tree Identification
Waycross Exchange Club Fair - October 4, 2006
4-H’ers will learn how to identify a variety of tree species trough leaf identification and test that knowledge at the Waycross Exchange Club Fair on October 4, 2006.
Camden County 4-H’ers participated in the Tree Identification Contest at the Waycross Fair on October 4, 2006. The top team placed 3rd overall in the competition. This event included teams for multiple county’s 4-H and FFA tree identification teams. The 4-H’ers practiced every Tuesday and Thursday in October to learn how to identify 50 different trees.
Brunswick Exchange Club Fair - November 7, 2006
Camden County 4-H’ers participated in the Tree Identification Contest at the Waycross Fair on October 4, 2006. The teams places 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in the Junior Division. Morgan Horne had the highest score overall getting 44 out of 48 tree specimens correct.
