Tree Identification
2007 Tree Identification Team
Camden County 4-H'ers attended after school practice sessions to learn how to identify 50 different trees by the appearance of the leaves. The team learned leaf characteristics such as shape, size, and category to help them better be able to identify each tree. The team placed 2nd in competition at the Waycross Exchange Club Fair in October. Good Job 4-H’ers. The 4-H’ers who were on the team are from KES – Emily Carden, from MLC – Matthew Holden, from CMS – Morgan Horne, Caroline Campbell, Memphis Franks, Christine Raab, Altimease Lowe, and from CCHS Ashley Hill.
