District Contest Statesboro, GA - November 6, 2007

Group Picture of Cotton Boll & Consumer Judging Team

Consumer Judging helps the 4-H’ers determine what makes a consumer product better than another.  They will be looking at cost, manufacturing, methods, and nutritional information to make their decision.  This year the products include t-shirts, gift cards, popcorn, and sunglasses.  With Cotton Boll, the 4-H’er will learn about cotton during their practice sessions.  The Cloverleaf 4-H’ers will be asked to put together and demonstration a 30 second commercial on cotton and the senior 4-H’ers will give a speech on cotton. 4-H'ers Memphis Franks placed 1st as overall individuals in judging for the Junior Division.
