4-H Fair Booths

4-H’ers can create an educational fair mini booth on the topic of their choice and enter it in the Exchange Club Fair Booth Contest.  It may be on the same topic as the project achievement demonstration.  We may also create a large booth for the 4-H groupings (i.e. Cloverleaf, Junior, Senior).  These booths can win cash prizes.

Camden County 4-H’ers participated in the fair booth contest at the Waycross Fair in early October.  The booths were setup on the Sunday before the fair and displayed for the fairgoers to view throughout the week. Participants from Camden Middle School include: Christine Raab placed 1st with a booth on Ferrets; Caroline Campbell placed 2nd with a booth on Nutrition; Morgan Horne placed 2nd with a booth on Hand Washing; Eric Franks placed 2nd with a booth on Cat Care, and Memphis Franks placed 2nd with a booth on plants that are dangerous for horses.  Ashley Hill, a 10th grader, placed 3rd with a booth on Self Defense, and Holly Carter, an 11th grader, placed 2nd with a booth on food allergies.  Congratulations to all of these 4-H’ers.

At the Brunswick Exchange Club Fair, participants from Camden Middle School include: Caroline Campbell placed 2nd with a booth on Nutrition; Eric Franks placed 2nd with a booth on Cat Care, Morgan Horne placed 1st with a booth on Hand Washing; and Memphis Franks placed 1st with a booth on plants that are dangerous for horses.  Ashley Hill, a 10th grader, placed 2nd with a booth on Self Defense, and Holly Carter, an 11th grader, placed 1st with a booth on food allergies.  Congratulations to all of these 4-H’ers.
