2008 Horse Quiz Bowl
The teams practiced on Tuesdays and Thursdays in December and January. Preparation included reviewing and memorizing up to 3000 questions on general horse anatomy, history, chemistry, biology, and lifestyle. In the double elimination style quiz bowl, 4-H members learn not only equine science related subject matter, but the valuable life skills of contributing to a group effort, teamwork, learning to learn, critical thinking, planning and organizing, cooperating and communicating.
